Teacher Insights: Gatsby-Themed Thanksgiving Party with United Bloggers PH

Happy new year means happy new beginnings. Greater things to hope for and new opportunities to come. As bloggers, new year only means new open doors to unleash and find its way to bless us. But 2017 is also a blessing to us. Personally, this gave me tons of opportunity to grow more and learn more about my ability as a blogger. And because of that, there are tons of ways to be thankful as well.

As last week, United Bloggers’ Philippines, with the initiative of its founder Mrs. Adae Ang, launched a Gatsby-themed thanksgiving party with fellow bloggers and PR partners. The party happened at the finest Filipino restaurant in Makati city, “Romulo Café.” And the event was filled with food, prizes and Gatsby-fun for all bloggers and PR friends.

We interacted with our fellow bloggers and PR friends, as they introduced their respective businesses and promote their products to us. They even gave us a token of appreciation. We also had a good time playing games and to raffle off prizes courtesy of our sponsors.

What I love about this experience is how one event can gather bloggers and PR companies in all walks of life, and actually be friends with one another. I took home many prizes from the event, but I’m more grateful to the relationships I built with these bloggers.
